Indonesian Diaspora in Middle East Optimistic about Prabowo

During his visit to Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025, President Prabowo Subianto received overwhelming support and optimism from the Indonesian diaspora residing there. Members of the Indonesian community in Turkey, represented by Maulidya Nur Islami, expressed their pride and happiness at the President’s visit, viewing it as a significant moment for bilateral relations. Similarly, Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif appreciated the personal attention and engagement shown by Prabowo during the visit, foreseeing strengthened cooperation between Indonesia and Turkey in the future. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki conveyed the enthusiasm of the Indonesian community, hopeful that Prabowo’s visit would serve as an inspiration for them to continue bringing honor to Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Indonesian diaspora in Egypt welcomed Prabowo’s visit, highlighting their belief in its positive impact on the educational advancement of Indonesian students in the country. Overall, members of the diaspora in these nations extended prayers and well wishes for Prabowo as he embarked on his leadership journey. Since April 9, President Prabowo has been engaged in official visits to various Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
