Prabowo Subianto, Chairman of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra), officially announced the new composition of the Central Executive Board (DPP) for the period 2025–2030. In this newly formed structure, Prabowo Subianto will continue to hold the positions of Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad has been appointed as the Executive Chairman, while Sugiono will serve as the Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo will take on the role of Treasurer-General. The official signing of the document took place at Prabowo’s residence at Garuda Yaksa Padepokan in Hambalang.
Secretary-General Sugiono expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of all Gerindra Party cadres. He highlighted the significance of this moment as a renewed commitment to strengthen unity and solidarity within the party, especially in backing the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto. Sugiono stressed that their collective efforts aim to assist the President in upholding his duties as outlined in the 1945 Constitution and all relevant laws.
Moreover, Sugiono conveyed appreciation for the trust placed in him as the Secretary-General and expressed heartfelt gratitude to his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani, who had served in that role for 17 years, from 2008 to 2025. He acknowledged Ahmad Muzani’s dedication and contributions to the Gerindra Party over the years.
In conclusion, Sugiono, who also holds the position of Indonesia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, thanked Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, the newly appointed Executive Chairman, for his continual dedication to the party since its establishment.
