Kondisi Bendung Katulampa Pasca Bogor Hujan Deras

Bogor City and Regency were hit by heavy rain for two consecutive days on Saturday (9/8) and Sunday afternoon to evening. So, what is the current condition of Bendung Katulampa in Bogor City?
The head of Bendung Katulampa, Andi Sudirman, stated that Bendung Katulampa is in normal condition. The water level of the Ciliwung River on Saturday (9/8) at 19.00 WIB was at 20 centimeters with a normal status, and on Sunday at 20.00 WIB, it was still 20 centimeters. This situation did not trigger any flood warnings in Jakarta. “The rainfall intensity was high in some areas, but the water discharge at Bendung Katulampa is still safe and under control,” he said as quoted from Antara on Sunday (10/8/20215).
Data from the officers indicated that the water level at the Kalibaru intake gate or the main channel of Katulampa is stable. It was at 40 centimeters on both Saturday (9/8) and Sunday, and there was no recorded rainfall at the dam location during the morning to afternoon measurement period.
