Jakarta – Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto, congratulated the Indonesian national football team on their success in reaching the round of 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup.
This was conveyed by Prabowo during an open campaign with the theme “Suara Muda Indonesia for Prabowo-Gibran” at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Saturday (27/1).
Indonesia, Prabowo continued, for the first time in many years, made history by securing a ticket to the round of 16 in the 2023 Asian Cup.
“And for the first time in many years, Indonesia has reached the top 16 of the Asian Cup,” said Prabowo.
He also invited the public to continue to support the Indonesian national team players. Moreover, the next match will be against Australia.
“If I’m not mistaken, tomorrow they will compete against Australia. We pray that we will make a surprise. But whatever happens, we support our national team,” he said.
