Sumedang – Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto was greeted enthusiastically by thousands of residents, including farmers, at the event ‘Guidance for Agricultural Extension Workers and Farmers and Participatory Food Estate in West Java Province to Support the Increase of National Rice and Corn Production’ in Sumedang, on Tuesday (30/1).
On this occasion, Prabowo responded to an invitation from the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman and will speak about agricultural extension and food security through the Food Estate.
Thousands of people, the majority of whom were farmers and livestock breeders, were eager to shake hands and capture the moment with Prabowo. Some young people also attended wearing their university’s jacket.
“Mr. Prabowo! Mr. Prabowo,” the residents shouted.
At the event, Prabowo wore a cream safari suit and a traditional Sundanese headband. He arrived around 10:55 AM and was enthusiastically welcomed by the residents who had filled the event location since early in the morning. (SENOPATI)
